• Location (GPS): Real-time and background location to generate zone recommendations during your active shift.
• Name: Provided during account registration.
• Email address: Used for account creation, authentication, and support.
• TLC license number: Required to verify eligibility as a licensed NYC yellow cab driver.
• Usage data: Fare feedback (Got a Fare / No Fare), zone selections, and shift activity to improve recommendations.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate personalized, real-time zone demand recommendations.
• To manage your account and authenticate your sessions.
• To improve the accuracy of our machine learning models over time.
• To communicate with you about your subscription or support requests.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Railway (railway.app). We use industry-standard practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls to protect your information. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

HailPath uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Mapbox – Provides map rendering and navigation data.
• RevenueCat – Manages subscription purchases and entitlements through the App Store.
• PostHog – Provides anonymized product analytics to help us understand app usage patterns.

5. Location Data

Location access is required for the core functionality of HailPath. We only collect location data while the app is in use during an active shift. We do not share your precise GPS coordinates with third parties beyond what is necessary to display your position on the in-app map.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

7. Children's Privacy

HailPath is intended for licensed adult drivers only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.
